Sunday’s Well Flower Club presents an evening with Liam O hUigin, local historian, at 8pm on Wednesday, October 21, at Blarney St Community Centre, Strawberry Hill. €5. All welcome.

Blarney and District Garden & Flower Club presents “Autumn Glory” — flower arranging and garden competitions judged by Angela Heffron (AOIFA). Competition restricted to members. A mini fun quiz will also be held at the Community Hall, Whitechurch, on Thursday, October 22, at 8pm.

Cork Flower Club will have Mary O’Brien, Cobh, to demonstrate and conduct a work night at Canon Packam Hall, Douglas, on Tuesday, October 20, at 8pm. Visitors welcome.
