Our gardening noticeboard

The Owenabue Garden and Flower Club, Carrigaline, will hold its decorative show on Monday, October 20 at 8pm in the Church of Ireland School Hall, (entrance beside the main gates to the Community School).

A meeting of GIY (Grow It Yourself) will be held on Thursday 16 October at 7.30 in Church of Ireland School Hall, Marmullane, Passage West. The subject for discussion will be soil health. Meetings are open to people interested in growing food at all levels — from growing a few herbs on a balcony to complete self sufficiency — from beginners to old hands. Entry 2 which includes tea.
