FENNELL'S BAY - where angels choose to tread.

Angel's View boasts elevated position over bay

The evocatively titled Angel's View is an enthusiastic thumbs-up for this lofty spot with a view that just might qualify as heavenly on a really sunny day.

Setting is outside Cork harbour, so the aspect is southerly over the seas, with coastal views east and west, Crosshaven for shops, schools and services over the hill, Carrigaline for more choice four or five miles away - and Cork city within a half an hour's drive.

Angel's View is a four-bed single storey bungalow, on a site of a quarter of an acre, elevated over Fennell's bay and looking towards the beach at Myrtleville. A deck has been tacked on to the west end gable and a thin sliver also runs across the front of this smartened up home of about 1,600 sq ft.

Its four bedrooms make it big enough for family use, but it may also suit a wider variety of buyers, including singles, couples, traders-down and those looking for a second, seaside home.

Guide price quoted by Ann O'Mahony of Sherry FitzGerald is €530,000, and the house has lounge, family/dining room, and both of these have the best views, there's a 'choice' bedroom also to the front of the house with en suite, likely to be bagged by the mortgage payers.

There are three further bedrooms and bathroom to the back of the central corridor. It has oil heating, double glazing, and the sale includes appliances, blinds, carpets, and more.
