Letter to the Editor: Time for West to alleviate suffering

Wake up, Wall Street, and realise life is fragile and you won’t be leaving here alive, so, no use being the richest bones in the graveyard, or the richest ashes and dust in an urn.

Russia has sent a military transport full of hazmat to the USA. Cuba, Russia, and China sent emergency shipments. China sent medical advisers to Italy. Turkey sent hazmat to Spain and Italy.

These people are conscious we are all in this together. Indeed, our Government has acknowledged and thanked the Chinese for providing supplies of hazmat clothing, visors, masks, gloves, by the plane-load.
