Readers Blog: Ireland should stop following EU ‘empire’ and look to China

Meanwhile, political opinion in Ireland is captivated by a storm in a teacup while important work is ignored as if the ruling classes are suffering from a collective hangover from hell. At a time when there are so many threats to the survival and well-being of the nation, it would be wise to concentrate on formulating a Plan B, instead of childishly squabbling over little or nothing.
