TODAY marks the 59th anniversary of the atomic attack on Hiroshima. Three days later, on August 9, 1945, Nagasaki was the next target.

Let us never forget

The victims were non-combatants. The two attacks were the only occasions on which such a weapon of mass destruction was ever used. In Hiroshima, a flame burns by a memorial cenotaph till all nuclear arms are gone forever.
