Tackle obesity crisis

Medical experts express concern for the future wellbeing of society and teachers are constantly being exhorted to give greater emphasis to physical education.

But a very high percentage of schools do not have the facilities. They don’t have PE halls and pupils have to exercise in a small yard, often in bad weather. It is hypocritical of the Department of Education to insist on proper PE teaching while denying schools the necessary facilities.
