FAMILY Solidarity reminds the Government that the wish of the Irish people expressed in referenda and in opinion polls is that all human life from conception to natural death should be protected.

We think it's cynical that on the 60th anniversary of the slaughter in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, the Irish Family Planning Association should demand legislation to promote procured abortions.

It is time that a simple option be put in a referendum that will clarify the will of the Irish people.
