Not so funny

THE RTÉ series Joy in the Hood was obscene. Many who performed in the so-called workshops were sucked in by Des Bishop’s attempt to give them a chance in comedy.

So-called budding comedians showed they were capable of little more than ‘effing’ non-stop into a microphone to the sick laugher of those who looked on. This is perhaps the worst show ever from RTÉ. The station is constantly seeking licence fee rises. Is this the best they can do?
