DANA makes no secret of the hymn-sheet from which she sings. The transparent honesty of her political and religious convictions, even if one disagrees with them, is beyond question.

It may well be that her cynical detractors are out of tune (Irish Examiner letters, September 24). Virtually on her own, and undaunted by a powerful opposition, her courage is remarkable and an inspiration to many.
