Father died without realising dearest wish

MY father was William Christopher O’Driscoll, born December 17, 1919.

Father died without realising dearest wish

He was placed in an orphanage or institution run by the Christian Brothers at a very young age. He suffered an injury while in the institution and was in hospital for 12 months. He came over to England in his 20s and remained here all his life. It was his dearest wish to find any of his family.

However, as he was the father of seven children, he could never afford to return to Ireland. Sadly, he died without discovering anything about himself. I have now decided to carry out the research in his memory.
