Banking on greed

I WAS flabbergasted to read that Bank of Ireland is about to shed 2,000 jobs even though it had a gross profit of €1.3 billion.

It would appear to me it’s the old story: the more you have, the more you want.

The Bank of Ireland, by shedding 2,000 jobs, will save millions. I call that greed.
