Need to focus on priorities in Iraq

THE rush by the media to lay the blame for the tragic death of Dr David Kelly, the weapons expert, at the door of Tony Blair's government shows how self serving their own agenda can be.

The devil must be smiling in hell at the consternation in the West by the search for facts, bolstered by flawed statistics, to undermine the truth of what needed to be done in Iraq.

Since the invasion, a concerted effort has been made to bring about the destruction of both Tony Blair and George Bush, rather than consolidate the democratic push for some semblance of civil administration in Baghdad and its hinterland.
