Immigration policy a cherry-picking exercise

OUR immigration policy has been reduced to a cherry-picking exercise.

Exceptions are being made more frequently under the pressure of public protest, showing up deep inconsistencies in national policy. Justice Minister Michael McDowell has taken a strong stand on illegal immigration however, the exception is becoming the rule.
