Ambrose family tree looking for branches

I AM researching my late mother’s family name of Ambrose and would be grateful for any information.

My grandfather was Matthew Charles Ambrose, born April 1871 at 11 East Beech, Queenstown (as it was then). He attended Dublin University and became a customs officer.

His father, also Matthew Ambrose, was a shoemaker. He married Jane Banks about 1868. I think his children were: Matthew Charles; May, who married Canon Houston; Annie, who married a Mr Barriscale; Dorothy; Marmaduke; James and Andrew.
