In Bahr Gazal region, where GOAL has worked for several years, mothers are feeding their children leaves to prevent them from starving to death. Failed rains and a wave of cattle raiding have left thousands in dire need. Famine is inevitable.

The UN claims that donors have not delivered on promises of aid but the biggest problem is surely the failure of the international community as a whole to take seriously, the shocking pain of so many.
