A burning issue: will Cullen go it alone?

Environment Minister Martin Cullen said recently that the people of Cork were misinformed on the issues relating to a toxic waste incinerator and that he “cannot delay taking action on this matter”.

Does this indicate that he will ignore the views of the people of Cork and work to overturn the democratic decision reached by the county council?
