THE president of the Irish Hotels Federation says that to attract more customers, they need to get away from the 'one size fits all' approach and stale formats like two nights B&B and one dinner (Irish Examiner, March 7).

What a discovery! The 'stale formats' have been a feature of the business for a long time and the only people to notice seem to have been the customers. Was any customer invited to address the IHF conference? They just might have been able to tell them something.
