Government ignores looming energy crisis

THE Green Party has repeatedly stressed the need to free Ireland from an unhealthy reliance on fossil fuel.

This country is currently the seventh most oil dependent in the world.

The Government is ignoring the looming energy crisis to judge by their four-to-one capital spending ratio in favour of motorway construction over public transport provision.
