Parents urged to act on teacher turnover
Recently, my seven-year-old daughter came home from school with a note stating that her third teacher of the year was leaving to accept a permanent teaching position elsewhere.
Apart from the fact that the news caused pupils to cry, this rate of turnover is unacceptable and detrimental to their academic progress.
