It’s right to mark the fallen of WWI

CONGRATULATIONS to An Post for taking the initiative in issuing a stamp to commemorate all of those brave Irish military personnel who died in the Battle of the Somme, and on various other World War I battle fronts.

This is a far more noble measure than issuing a stamp commemorating the abortive 1916 uprising and subsequent destruction of Dublin, which would no doubt be playing into the hands of Sinn Féin and other nefarious republican elements.
