I SUPPORT Cork Corporation’s efforts to address traffic congestion.

Congestion cycle

For the past 18 months I have cycled around the city, and while this saves time, reduces parking costs and provides enjoyable exercise, the absence of cycling lanes makes it hazardous.

Cycling lanes, parking racks and a pro-cycling environment, would be relatively inexpensive but would make a significant contribution to the freeing up of city traffic.
