I WOULD like to register my appreciation of the wonderful work of the religious for the marginalised — very often on a shoestring budget.

It is considered fashionable nowadays to claim to be the voice of the voiceless, but when few wanted to hear about or know about the needy, the religious quietly came to their rescue sharing with them their meagre means.

What little they had they gladly shared struggling to feed and clothe those abandoned and rejected by their very own flesh and blood (even before they were born).
