Innocent fathers are victims of the system

I WOULD like to draw attention to a problem that exists thanks mainly to the incompetence of our legislators and a judiciary who, as far as I can see, seem to have little regard for family life.

Innocent fathers are victims of the system

Equally, there are family lawyers who are oblivious to the plight of many thousands of people who have to face the wrath of judges in family courts. The mindset of many of these judges belongs to the earlier years of the past century. What happened to the notion of innocent until proven guilty?

We fathers are being punished for a crime we did not commit. Can the do-gooders and the political fraternity please address this issue as it is the source of untold suffering for many innocent fathers and their extended families? Can we please also address the Law Society whose function baffles me, except when it comes to the aid of its often incompetent membership.

Childcare, it seems, is to be the latest vote-catcher. But what of the love and care a father wants to give his offspring, despite the legal system. So much for equality in a caring society. I would like to hear from anyone who has ever been in this melting pot of judicial ‘wisdom’.
