A NEW fathers support group yesterday said current “shambolic” laws needed to be changed to grant “decent dads” greater access to their children.

Fathers have no rights in relation to their children because the law has not kept up with the modern Irish family, campaigners said today.

The Fathers for Justice and Equality group has mounted its annual campaign for its members to be reunited with their children this Christmas.

I WOULD like to draw attention to a problem that exists thanks mainly to the incompetence of our legislators and a judiciary who, as far as I can see, seem to have little regard for family life.
