I TOTALLY agree with Finbar Walsh (Irish Examiner letters, September 16) about the car park charges at Irish airports.

I flew to London last week from Shannon and was shocked to find that the parking charge of €30 for four days was higher then the actual cost of the flight.

I'm dreading going to Dublin airport next week as I'll be looking at a total of €112 for parking my car on a gravel surface for 14 days.

It's time to end this monopoly and bring in some competition.
