FG challenged to spell out policies

THERE seems to be a notion gaining currency that Fine Gael used their recent national conference to outline detailed policies.

However, the fact is that even a basic look at the detail of these policies confirms that they continue to follow a strategy of issuing carefully cherry-picked policy soundbites.

It remains the case that Fine Gael have not stated or costed policy in the vast majority of areas dealt with by government.
