NICK FOLLEY (Irish Examiner letters, July 130), like many of his peers, is awakening to the truth about school sex education and the damage it can do.

He wonders if these programmes are in fact part of the problem.

We have consistently highlighted the correlation between liberal sex education and the growth in not only teen pregnancies and abortions, but also in sexually transmitted diseases, including the killer AIDS and in suicide.
