IT was most hypocritical of people to have expected a national day of mourning for the Pope.

Unlike victims of 9/11 or the war in Iraq, the Pope died of natural causes. Why was there no national day of mourning for them?

The Pope was part of an institution that has condemned the use of contraception even for people with AIDS and covered up that most abhorrent of crimes, child sex abuse.
