CAN Damien McBride (Irish Examiner letters, July 1) please explain why hundreds of Jews were murdered

Arabs in British-mandated Palestine for over 30 years prior to 1948?

Was it also because of ‘radicalisation’ by some right-wing Israeli government, or was it pure Jew hatred.

If it was freedom from the British the Arabs wished for, they seemed to have picked the wrong target?
