AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL recently identified suicide bombing as a crime against humanity.

So it seems perverse to insist it is the "best available method" of achieving one's worldly or religious goals. (Irish Examiner, letters, July 1).

It incorporates, in fact, the worst of both worlds a conscience driven by rage and poor judgment and, worse still, subject to bad authority.
