We’re abandoning a unique culture

I LISTENED recently with great interest to Minister Martin Cullen’s views on the proposed smoking ban and the Americanisation of our society.

I am a non-smoking publican who has spent most of my life smoking and all of my life in the pub trade.

In my humble view, this Government is hell-bent on choking the last vestiges of life out of the pub trade in this country.
