Our regular correspondent proves he exists
He is apparently capable of writing letters on any conceivable subject, which are published virtually every week. Could it be that these multitudinous letters are stored up, or created, in your office and published when you are short of copy?
It only catches my eye every time because Mountrath town was founded by my family in 1628 and until recently we owned most of it. Dowling is a prominent local name, though I do not recall a Richard Dowling.
