DRIVERS wait too long for insurance discs to arrive, while facing possible prosecution.

Despite technology, it can still take several days, or even weeks, for insurance documents to arrive. This can also be the case with temporary discs, designed to prevent prosecution while a full disc is issued. Insurance companies should be in a position to issue discs immediately once the premium is paid no excuses.
