I take exception to Sean Gannon’s letter on Palestinian casualties (The Irish Examiner, August 3).

“603 were civilians of whom 66% were men between the ages of 13 and 30”.

Surely he means “...were children aged between 13 and 17 and men aged between 18 and 30”.
