Name of the game

I NOTED Sean Ó Mochóir’s letter (Irish Examiner, September 4) on our dilemma in Cork in finding a name for our new pedestrian bridge over the Lee at the Coal Quay.

He advised that we give it a week and then we would have to name it after Henry Shefflin.

Isn’t a week a long time in sport? History will show that during the All-Ireland final Henry Shefflin was all at sea and the attempt at three in a row was just a bridge too far for the Cats.
