TRIBUNALS — those insatiable consumers of citizens’ revenue — are no longer providing any information that is new or even worthwhile. All we are getting is a rehash of the depths to which too many of our national and local politicians sank.

While the tribunals endure, few of the culprits are being brought to justice and in most cases, it would seem, they will continue to enjoy their ill-gotten gains until they shuffle off this mortal coil.

At one stage a few years ago politicians of all parties pleaded with us not to judge them all by the standards of the known culprits.
