Uganda has actually decreased its rate of AIDS by as much as 75% in some demographics, an unprecedented success in the struggle to combat AIDS in Africa.

This was achieved with the help of government-sponsored information campaigns that discouraged promiscuity and sexual ‘grazing’ and encouraged faithfulness to one spouse in marriage.
