THE Parents’ Associations of Community and Comprehensive Schools (PACCS) endorses ASTI president Pat Cahill’s argument that exam result league tables will help nobody, but will hurt weaker students most.

As a parent who has become involved in helping out in my children’s school in whatever way I can, I am overwhelmed at times by the level of commitment put in by all within the school community to help each child realise his or her true potential.

Of course, league tables could in no way reflect such effort.
