Why a European army is vital for our security

WHEN the issue of a European army arose during the various EU referenda, I was always opposed to such a force.

However, in view of the appalling behaviour of the USA and Britain, which have been waging illegal and unjust wars in recent times, I now believe that the European army is vital to our future security.

It would not be set up to protect us from the 'usual suspects' Russia, China or even Korea but from the US and UK.
