NOW that we’re being told Iraq is safer because Uday and Qusay have been killed and people struggle to come to terms with telling their children that the Americans say it’s good that they see the horrible pictures of their bodies, we have to ask who is going to make the rest of the world safe from George and Tony?

I’M inclined to agree with Noel O’Shaughnessy and Michael Kennefick (Irish Examiner letters, Dec 31).
