Hence, a culture of death, a process of evil. In recent days in Alabama, a prisoner in his mid-70s was put to death after 27 years on Death Row. He was the oldest man executed in 63 years.

Capital punishment has no future. It ought to be outlawed worldwide. The sooner, the better.
