Airport let-down for disabled passenger

AS a disabled person I have had once again to endure the terror of being carried off a plane like a piece of luggage at Cork airport.

It was after midnight, lashing rain and freezing cold. There I was hanging on for dear life as this apparatus lowered me to the ground while being reassured by the kind operators that all was well and I was quite safe, if not exactly comfortable.

Add to this the long walk from way beyond the new building, and the situation is not funny.
