Double-jobbers should get priorities in order
There are unemployed schoolteachers who could gain jobs from the non-earnings of our TDs and senators. These payments should not be classified as earnings as they don't work for their salaries while on leave.
Clearly, they have taken up positions in full-time employment elsewhere and should not be considered on leave.
It would be more in line if our public representatives stuck to the job in hand because there's a lot to do.
