Why should you care about the likes of us?

THE following is the profile of a particular group currently taking up valuable media space which could otherwise be devoted to more important or worthy issues:

Hungry nay, starving people who can't meet their own food requirements.

Superstitious heathens afflicted by rampant ignorance who practise voodoo;

Inhabitants of a place full of endemic diseases.

Bad economic management indeed, probably couldn't even organise a booze-up in a brewery.

Bad governance and, worse still, corrupt leadership.

Uncivilised lot who slaughter their own people.

Couldn't be trusted to trust themselves.

Can't even speak for themselves and, not knowing what they need, rather rely on outsiders to tell them.

So, why do people still continue to waste their time on such a feckless lot? Indeed, why would anyone wish to have anything to do with us?
