Are all the villains only on one side?

IT seems to be the view of your serial letter writer Richard Dowling from Mountrath in Co Laois that Sinn Féin and the IRA have been responsible for just about every ill that has befallen this country.
Are all the villains only on one side?

Is he really so naive as to believe that the British army, SAS, RUC, UDR and the loyalist death squads (who have all colluded with each other to kill hundreds of Catholics) have played an honourable and fair role in the North over the last 35 years.

It would be interesting to get Mr Dowling's views on the United Irishmen, the Young Irelanders, the Fenians and the men of 1916.
