Those who truly care need your assistance

I AM asking your readers for help on behalf of CASA, the Caring & Sharing Association, a voluntary organisation that provides social activities, pilgrimages to Lourdes, holidays and respite care for those who are sick or have a physical or intellectual disability.

Those who truly care need your assistance

We have two ‘breakhouses’ staffed by a team of full-time co-ordinators and volunteers. These breakhouses offer time out from home or institutional life in a friendly and welcoming environment where the helper and disabled person are equal and share in all the house activities.

CASA relies on voluntary donations and its charity shops to fund these activities. Present funding, unfortunately, is insufficient and additional monies are required to enable us to maintain and develop our breakhouses and to ensure that CASA continues to play a vital role in the lives of so many of our disabled members.

We are launching a special ‘direct debit’ appeal. Your donation can really make a difference.

You can contact CASA at 01-8725300 (10am to 2pm), 021-4278981 (9am to 5pm), or ring Mairead at 086-8289908.
