Europe divorces God from Christianity

THE decision to omit mention of Christianity but to include God in the proposed EU constitution is a typically devious ‘Euro-fudge’.

It is sop to Europe’s noisy and troublesome ‘loony left,’ and an exercise in hypocritical political correctness.

For hundreds of years Christianity has been the very bedrock of Western culture and civilisation, though its practice has been far from perfect.
