RE your article on incineration evolution (February 24). I looked up “evolution” and one of the meanings is “gradual development or progression”.

No to incineration

Incineration is not an evolution in the context of progressive development, but a crude, approach to waste management.

Information substantiates the claim that incineration is uneconomic, wasteful and dangerous and that simple, sustainable solutions exist. That would be the “evolutionary approach”.
