On Wednesday, Taoiseach Micheál Martin welcomed President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, to Dublin Castle for an event marking the beginning of Ireland's EU Presidency.

Over the next six months, Ireland will welcome a conveyor belt of Europe's top politicians: from commissioners, to Government heads, and senior officials.
